November is Runaway Prevention Month. Interface’s Youth Crisis & Homeless Services program supports a youth crisis hotline, a youth shelter for youth ages 12-17, and the street outreach program, which provides basic needs to youth experiencing homelessness in our very own community. October was Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Interface has housed 57 domestic violence survivors and their children this year. We take domestic violence calls through our hotline and 211 Information & Assistance. Last month, we highlighted online and virtual safety as well as voter registration safety guidelines for survivors.
